2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 dreamflower (343) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 8, 2012
Not the strongest or most interesting beer in the world. What there was of flavour and aroma was pleasant enough, hence my completely average review.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 piscator34 (1798) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - JUL 24, 2011
Bottled sample. Amber in colour with strong carbonation. Aromas are of caramel malt, burnt sugar, and wet grains. Flavours are a mix of caramel sweetness and more wet grains. A bit of a tinny note on the finish. A bit of mouth coating sweetness too. Nothing overly offensive, but really just another bland beer from Fort Garry.

341ml brown bottle. Amber coloured brew with a thin creamy white head. Aroma is slightly lemony with some malt sweetness. Flavour has some up front nutty malt, very slight citrus hop note, light malt sweetness. Fairly dry and grainy finish with faint distant grass hop notes. Moderate carbonation, medium body. Fairly average Canadian styled "red" ale.

33 cl bottle, Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Almost opaque murky dark amber. No visible head, visible carbonation. Faint caramel aroma. Slightly sour first sip, giving way to a slightly bitter burn and sweet malt and some nuttiness. Lacks oomph or subtlety, fairly standard but drinkable.
