Black, still. Coffee, anice in the nose. Thinner body, somewhat grapey with slight hints of coffee.Alcoholis and vinous at the finish. A bit off.

Black as night with a tan head. The nose shows a heavy dose of chocolate. Full bodied with medium-low carbonation. Heavy roasted coffee bean mid palate. Long, rich finish.

A stout that is what it is and doesn’t try to be anything other than delicious. 16 oz can. Light carbonation but very well balanced flavor.

Chocolate brown- black with a ring of head. Dry, roasty nose, with some sweet roast barley licks. The body is very green in its roasty character. Tannic, with touches of chemical cleaner. Green cardamom pod astringency. Ok.

Tin. Black pour with medium beige head. Fresh aroma with roast overtones. Light bodied for a stout with roast and unsweetened chocolate. A bit of espresso in the finish

(16oz can) Pours an opaque black body with a medium beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, herbs, caramel, and chocolate. Flavor of roasted malt, lactose, some coffee, and chocolate.

Pours opaque and nearly black with a thick brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, bitter chocolate, and coffee is complemented by crisp hops. As with the aroma, the flavor manages a nice balance of roasted malt and chocolate tones with a bracing, subtly hoppy finish. Medium bodied. Quite dry and drinkable for an 8.8% stout.

16-oz can. Pours black with a dense and creamy dark tan head that settles but doesn’t go away. Stringy, webby lace. Chocolatey, lightly roasty nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb, goes a bit chalky in spots. Chocolatey roasty mid palate. Nice beer but not a bold foray into new territory.

Can shared by alexsdad06. Poured black color with an average frothy brown head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Solid roasted coffee and chocolate malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium roasted dark bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
