On tap at Bailey’s Taproom’s Third Anniversary Barrel Aged Fest. Pours out a cloudy amber/orange topped with a tan head. Aroma was of light sour notes, sweetness, pit fruit, honey, and some wood. Taste was more of the sweetness and the light funk. Like a couple of other reviews said I don’t know if the funk was suppose to be there or not.

Tap @ Bailey’s Taproom’s Third Anniversary Barrel Aged Fest... [Vintage 2009] Maybe a beautiful mistake. This keg definitely had some sourness going after a year of aging. Sweet, tart, oaky, with honey flavors and sweet malts. Very fruity, and an acidic sourness that was sharp which hinted towards raw sugar. A little hot too.

Had this on tap at Bailey’s Taproom in Portland, OR. Colour... orange-brown with a thick head. Nose... woody, acetic and malty. Palate... TANGY, mustardy, thin mouthfeel, almost puckery with the tanginess. Doesn’t seem even remotely doppelbock-ish or bourbon-like to me!

Draft at Concordia Ale House. Pours a brown with tan head. Sweet slightly tangy nose. Flavor is caramel, bourbon, sweet, and tangy. Yum! I loved this beer, I kept tasting flavors in here as it progressed. Fig, vanilla, chocolate, brown sugar, oak. This beer was surprisingly good. I loved the tang!

Pours dark brown with a thin smooth beige head. Big sweet bourbon nose, lightly boozy, vanilla, soft chocolate. The malt profile in this is really nice, smooth body, chocolate and earthy bourbon, dry oaky finish, a bit boozy, but still delicious.

On tap at Belmont Station--Poured a thick, dark brown-black opaque body with a tiny off-white head. Sweet, oak and bourbon notes. Odd melding of styles. Astringent and bitter finish with lots of residual malty roasty sweetness. Alcohol heat hits at your core and unveils itself about a third of the way through the pint. This beer would be great mid-winter in the Northwest. I liked it a lot a lot!
