COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian style ale that's pale and cloudy in appearance, that's because it's unfiltered and has a high level of wheat. Wit beer is traditionally brewed with coriander and orange zest. Ours uses organic pale and wheat malts, ground coriander, organic lemongrass (to impart a citrus character) and wild-crafted elderflower.

Can - pours out cloudy copper with small foamy head. Nose of cloves, spices, and citrus. Highly carbonated mouthfeel. Taste is also of cloves, coriander, and banana. Has a lemon dry finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From bottle. Light golden color, with a lot of fluffy head. Aroma is slightly sour yeast funk and bubblegum. Taste is light farmhouse, bubblegum, and a hint of grass. Nice bubbly mouthfeel, and a sweet aftertaste.

Cans at home

Hazy light-brown pour. Rather sour for the style, witbier spices and yeast. Entirely drinkable though not exceptional in ant way.

3/28/13. Sampled during CBC 2013. Golden orange pour with a really nice off-white head. Herbal, floral aroma with lemonzest, spice, and pale malts. Soft wheat flavor, citrus, especially lemon, and lingering herbal and spice. Not bad.

Kind of flat when it comes to being a Witbier, but still has some flavor. Good, but not the best American Wit I have tried.

Looks like unfiltered apple cider head quickly vanishes. Smells funky oaky vinegary some nutmeg. Tastes spicy strong yeast flavors peppery lemon acidic. Creamy yeast mouthfeel. light carb.

Can. Pours an opaque yellow with thin white head. Aroma of wheat, lemongrass, coriander, and Belgian yeasts. Taste is a overpowered by a sour, lemon flavor. It’s OK, but a bit more sour than I was expecting.

Can from 16 Tons, Eugene. Pours a cloudy golden orange, very little head. Cloudy, looks to be quite yeasty. Aroma bears that out, very redolent of yeast. Some orange zest and a tart funk as well. Body kind of dull for the style, would’ve liked to pop a little bit more. Finish is very abrupt, beer generally not as good as the aroma would lead one to believe.

Very cloudy lemon yellow with a loght white head. Very light nose of wheat. Creamy palate with wheat, orange and lemon curd flavors. Softer and far less vegetal than a typical beer of this style. Very tasty.
