Tall can from Belmont Station. Hazy orange body with medium, fast-receding head. Nose is hoppy, floral, fruity. Taste is very nice of malts, honey, fruits, oranges and citrus in the finish. Very smooth and creamy texture. Very impressive coming from a can.

I liked this beer a lot. Had it at the brewery as part of a really nice fight. I’m partial to high wheat beers. I live in Idaho so this might be hard to get buy if I see it I’ll pick it up for sure.

Pours a slightly hazy orange/yellow. Nice citrus aroma wafts out. Very pleasant taste. Soft and easy to drink. Haven’t had a bad beer from Fort George.

16 oz. can courtesy of Sean and Amber. Perfect eye appeal. Hazy gold with a thin layer layer of head. Flavor is mild, light coriander with solid wheat character. Lots of sugar, I guess the candi sugar is the Belgian character. When it gets warm, it kind of smells like perfume. The lemongrass makes it a bit different as well. It’s ok.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 reebtogi (3259) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 6, 2012
473ml can pours a golden orange color with a finger of white head which leaves no lacing on the glass. Aroma is light citrus and spices. Taste is fruity and malty sweet with a mild citrusy bitterness. Light to medium body with light carbonation. A typical witbier with nothing special going on. Ok to drink around a campfire as it goes down pretty easy.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Brigadier (2230) - Bloomington, Indiana, USA - OCT 14, 2012
16 ounce can
Thanks to 5000 for sending this in a recent trade. Light, refreshing, and simple, it was a good beer for a cool autumnal evening. While I won’t go out of my way to get more beers from Fort George this isn’t a bad introduction.
Aroma / Appearance - The cloudy base is like pouring pureed orange pulp into a pint glass. The thin white head and spindly legs provide good visual balance. The nose smells like the inside of an orange creme filled Easter egg treat or orange marmalade. For the ABV it is surprisingly dense.
Flavor / Palate - The chewy mouthfeel starts from the first sip and doesn’t relent. Orange marmalade washes across the palate along with white toast. The sugary feel hangs in the back of the throat for a while before beginning to fade. This is a fine introduction to a new brewery.

16 oz can courtesy of bvc. The pour is a very hazy orange yellow with a firm two inch egg white head. Head falls slowly and noisily with nice lace. The aroma is soft smooth wheat grain, along with clove, lemon grass and an herbal lemon-lime. The taste is the lemon up front, the grassiness of the lemon grass, and soft wheat grain and clove in the back. Nice integration of flavors. The palate is light to medium bodied, a touch under carbonated, with a pleasant un-filtered mouth feel and the clove lemon lime finish. Nice Wit, thanks Brandon.

Can. Pours a hazy golden orange color. Lemon, wheat, citrus aromas. Lemon, floral, citrus flavors. Interesting beer, but not typical wit.

Hazy gold pour looks okay but the balance of flavors just doesn’t do it for me like a great Wit can. Too floral in a potpourri kind of way.
