COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Belgian style ale that's pale and cloudy in appearance, that's because it's unfiltered and has a high level of wheat. Wit beer is traditionally brewed with coriander and orange zest. Ours uses organic pale and wheat malts, ground coriander, organic lemongrass (to impart a citrus character) and wild-crafted elderflower.

Tap at the brewery. Murky dark yellow pour. Spicy Belgian yeast, clove and coriander in the aroma. Taste is smooth and crisp with much the same flavor profile as the aroma. Decent witbier.

[3015-20100628] Tap. Pine frogs aroma. Hazy, light brown yellow body with a quick bubbly white head. Lemon zest yeast flavour. Medium body. Odd unpleasant frog characteristic, otherwise fine.

Tap @ Organic Brewers Fest... Poured hazy, vibrant golden/yellow with a white head. Cracker-like wheat malts. Honey sweetness, herbal and grassy with the lemongrass adding a tanginess that meshed well with the yeast spices and citrus crispness.

Its a wit. Very crisp and white. The finish is sweeter but not obnoxiously so, hints of spice and citrus, but muted.

On tap at Fort George, a cool place in the hometown of the Goonies. Color was a dull, hazy gold. Aroma was floral, with wheat, yeast and spice. Flavor was extremely floral for the style. Herbal, lemon, wheat and orange as well. A well crafted beer in my opinion.
