COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smooth and creamy session-style american pale ale. With a straw-colored hue this beerís dry nature with affable bitterness and lovely hop aroma makes it an easy choice for drinking anytime of the day, even when the sun is rising. This beer is based on the first beer ever produced at the Fort George Brewery (Beer#1). We decided to add 50lbs. of oatmeal to make it even better.

Sampled @ GBBF day 2. Clear yellowish color, virtually no head. Smell and taste malts, loads of hops, a lot of tropical fruits, pineapple, peach and pine, nicely bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Lovely.

On tap at bier thirty. Pours out a cloudy straw topped with a white cream head. Nose is citrus grapefruit peel hop and oats. Taste is really grapefruit forward with a bitter grapefruit pithy end.

Can. Pours a bright orange color with a medium to small white head. A sweet orange nose, some biscuit. The flavor is pretty bitter, lemons, some husky sweet malts and oats, herbal tea. Quite robust. Pretty nice.

Nose was more hoppy than I expected but in a delightful way, featuring leafy fresh hops, a touch of leafy lupulin, and a touch of lemon rind. The taste is nice and full with a leafy hop bitterness, some mild earthy pale sweetness, and a fresh hop tone. Hard to describe, but Iím not doing it justice. Surprisingly great and smooth and nuanced.

Draught at Hales Ales Brewery and Pub, Seattle
as Sunshine Oat Pale Ale, 5.2% ABV

Hazy blond color with creamy head. The aroma is lightly citrusy. Dry but smooth mouthfeel; crisp malts, with nice lemony hopping.
Fresh, pleasant.
