COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smooth and creamy session-style american pale ale. With a straw-colored hue this beer's dry nature with affable bitterness and lovely hop aroma makes it an easy choice for drinking anytime of the day, even when the sun is rising. This beer is based on the first beer ever produced at the Fort George Brewery (Beer#1). We decided to add 50lbs. of oatmeal to make it even better.

Rich, chewy pale with a rather thick mouthfeel. taste was grassy, oaty, creamy. Dry at the finish. Oatmeal gave it a grainy cardboard aftertaste that I didn’t care for. Interesting though.

A: Poured a light yellow color with good carbonation leaving a nice white cap and some bubbles S: A little bit of lemon, some other citrus notes and a light floral note T: Initial citrus with a note of light oats, some grain and some floral notes has a light but noticable oat finish with a light bittering hop M: Light to medium body O: Very tasty, easy to drink.

From a can - Very cloudy pale gold, with a big, sturdy white head. Very hop forward aroma - lot of resin and grapefruit. Rich mouthfeel. Long, sticky aftertaste. I liked it. Thanks to curly for the trade!

16 oz. from Somewhere. Interesting beer. Not sure how the oatmeal factors in but I just can’t get over the bitterness. It’s a bitterness that lingers uncomfortably in the back of your throat. Makes it tricky to drink it all.

Pale orange color. Citrus and floral nose. Balanced and complex- this shows some sweet malts cut with tart citrus fruit. Long finish.

Can. Pours a cloudy bright orange with a large, creamy white head. Aroma of cereal, oats, and a good deal of sweet, fruity citrus. Light, creamy, highly quaffable palate. Flavor has a dose of oat sweetness, well balanced out with bitter, lightly citrus-flavored hops. An interesting beer: very smooth, very creamy, and very bitter.

16-oz can. Pours a cloudy bright dark gold with a dense and creamy whitish head that sticks around a fair while. Swirling breadfruit and mango nose. Creamy medium body, beautifully silky, with lively carb. Nice malt floor under the mid-palate here, showing toast and caramel in a nicely balanced nutty way. Sharply resinous pine and grapefruit on the finish. Refreshing and possessed of a bit of an identity of its own. Nice stuff.

Nice juicy citrus amarillo hop nose, really bright, fresh and awesome smelling. Light grain bill, oatmeal sweetness adds a fruity aspect. Real nice. Pours golden, light chill haze, nice head retention. Flavors of juicy citrus, nice fresh bright bitterness, oats are there with a pleasant velvetty sweetness. Fruity and smooth. A pleasure to drink at such a low ABV. I will buy more of this especially as spring turns to summer. Good shit.

This beer is meant to be drank in the morning. It tastes just fine at night.

Can thanks to DiabolicDUB. Pours a hazy pale golden orange with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma is quite dank with a srong grass note and has a deep grain backing. Flavor begins with dank grass and has a hint of grapefruit and is backed by oats and grains. Seems muddled.

16 oz can bought from "Lifesource" Salem. $2.45. Alc vol is now 5.2% Hazy golden beer with a large and thick rocky ,bubbly white head. Good aromas of resiny/sprucelike hopping faint nutty scent under this. Strange the taste is definatlly hoppy ( for an APA) resiny and piney like the aroma but one is surprised by the delightfully smooth and even semi-thickness provided by the oats, hops become juicy in the end..and leave a trailing bitter after taste. Unusual beer i liked it
