Eh its okay, resinous hops that kind of smells like pot but balanced with a oatmeal sweet and smoothness.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft pour pint at the Wilde Rover. Listed at 5.2% Pours a clear amber gold with a thin foam head and lacing. Low hop aroma with a sweetness to both that and the flavor. Juicy hop, sweet fruit flavor. Cool finish. Thick body with a lighter flavor. Solid OPA, though I canít think of too many more than this one. Iíve enjoyed this every time Iíve had it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled at the Pike brewpub in Seattle. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of floral and lightly citrusy hops, some pale malts, and some dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not a bad pale ale at all.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tall boy can: Pours a light golden/dark straw color, topped with a finger of fluffy sand colored head. A light haze to it. Decent bits of sheet lacing throughout the glass. Light citrus in the nose, florals, malts, and dry. Oats are evident in the flavor, goes nicely with the citrus and floral bite. A little grass and the finish is slightly soapy, but there is enough of a floral finish I can get past it.

16oz. can. Smooth citrusy aroma, sweet fruit, and some grass. Light gold straw, small head. Bitter initial, grapefruit, lotta zest, and some bready stuff. Light body and a bit arid-feeling. Nice, somewhat dank. Oatmeal doesnít seem to add much. Hops and citrus from top to bottom.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught. Pours a mostly clear golden color with a moderate off-white head on there. Nose is light and grassy, and has some floral hoppiness to it. Taste is slightly bitter, but ends up drinking extremely smooth and creamy, and is really quite tasty. Me gusta.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pounder can picked up at the COOP... but Iíve saw it at Bier Thirty and Whole Foods on Sunday.. Enjoyed out of my HotD goblet.. Hazy golden... Pillow white head shows great retention and lacing. Nose is bracingly bitter.. Dry.. Only hints of pale malt remain. Flavor is again unapologetically bitter... That bitterness is only magnified by plenty of pithy citrus and virtually no residual maltiness to help balance. For the low ABV the body has interesting "heft" to it that I assume is contributed by oats.. Medium body with big carbonation that is everpresent but still small bubble effervescent.
Weird... I figured I would like this more... But honestly, the drinkability takes a hit just because the bitterness is soooo heavy compared to all the rest of the parts.
