To everything there is a season – and a limited edition Fort George collaboration. The aromatic Tender Loving Empire NWPA quenches your springtime thirst for Oregon-made music, craft, community, and of course, beer. Like the end of a bright day, TLE Northwest Pale Ale glows with a tangerine hue, emanating harmonies of citrus fortified by notes of pine. It’s organically brewed in the Sunset Empire, a.k.a. Astoria, OR. Tender Loving Empire, our collaborator, synchronizes a well-known record label with a silk-screening studio and a handmade craft and music store in downtown Portland. Find out more about TLE and the "Wooden Sunset" artwork they created for the can you’re holding right now, at fortgeorgebrewery.com/tenderlovingempire

Can from supermarket in Portland, OR. Hazy orange body with medium, puffy head. Nose is hoppy, grapefruit, floral, oranges, quite nice. Taste is also hoppy up front, with grapefruit, spices, pine and cactus. Smooth and slightly prickly texture. Pretty great for a can, once again. Fort George is great.

16 oz can bought from "Lifesource" in Salem. $2.49 Bright pale orange coloured ale..again rather hazy and with a large and thick white head. Resiny/spicy rye hop notes dominate the aroma..all rather good. Well bitter taste..rye,resin dominate..though caramel comes through..but this is a hoppy pale a true PNW Pale. Good palate on this one goes across the tongue well. A good PNW Pale Ale.

Draft at sb. Pours a murky light amber with a huge fluffy platinum blonde head. Looks like a marshmallow-covered custard. Pleasant tangerine aromatics. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Lightly toasty caramel, bright pine, and a bit of tangerine pith on the mid palate. Long citric fresh finish. Very approachable and enjoyable.

From can. Orange amber color, with a bit of sediment floating near bottom of glass. Aroma of woody resin, pine, some citrus. Flavor is hop-forward, with more notes of pine and citrus. Finishes with some bitterness, but mostly balanced.

Pours a super hazy golden-orange with a thick, frothy, pale head. Aroma brings honey and caramel tones, followed by mild pine and citrus notes. Flavor is slightly sweet and malty, balanced by bright, hoppy pine and blood orange. Moderately bitter, lightly spicy rye finish. True to the NW pale ale style.
