COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For three centuries England colonized India. Many Englishmen lived there under an atmosphere never assimilated. Yet they never wanted to give up their beer. Back then, it was difficult to produce a beer in Europe that would ship to its destination while maintaining quality. Several months of torrid navigation corrupted quite a few beers... To be able to arrive uncorrupted, artisans prepared a beer with more malt, creating more alcohol, and more hops, providing an antiseptic quality. It matured and conditioned in barrels aboard the ships during the journey towards India. Thus slowly developed this unique style that today enjoys a renewed popularity. We believe we have brewed with rigor a tasty and full beer, with a clear design towards hops, which is added during the manufacturing process in the form of large amounts of fresh flowers. Thus, we get a brew with very pronounced and bitter floral notes in the mouth, along with ripe fruits and resins, with an aromatic explosion of mango and watermelon. The copious amounts of malt give it its round body. You will find this bold brew deceptively easy to drink.

Draught @ Gallows Bird, Espoo Pours dark orange with a smooth head. Aroma of biscuity and grainy malts, caramel, gooseberries, grass, toffee and syrup. Taste is sweet, malty, stuffy and biscuity with some gooseberries, grass and toffee. Finish is sweet, malty and slightly hoppy with hints of berries, grass and fruits. Too malty and sweet for my taste.

Pours a clear amber color with a fluffy rich cream colored head. The smell is floral, fruity and sweet light malt. The taste is fruity, yeasty, herbal, pine ending crisp and dry. The body light with elegant carbonation.

Draught @ Gallows Bird. Aroma has strong hay and grain tones. Also caramel. Flavour has caramel, hay, grain, biscuits and some harsh malt. Clear American strong ale -vibes here. Quite what it promises to be: a malty and sweet IPA.

Bottled imported by 2 friends that work in distribution. Pours a murky amber into the glass, with a huge sticky ice-cream head that reduces to chunky lacing and a thick residual ring of suds. The nose is of fresh flowers, grapefruit and melon. A tad hop-forward, the caramel malts bring a nice balance to the flowery bitters at play. A light pepper finish closes the pull. The body is medium and smooth to the palate, with soft carbonation that provides an easy quaff. Not over-the-top, this is an average IPA suitable for most any occasion.

Tap@gallows. Orange light hazy. Pretty nice sweet marmelady orange, mango hoppy fruity nose. Feels inviting, candyish. Some yeasty dust there too. Med bodied, soft. Well bittered, but really sweet too. Tropicals, oranges, caramels, and a good bitter green foresty finish. This is a bit overcaramellized, and real sweet. But tastes fresh fruity, and quite easy to drink even so.
