Dark brown, beige head. Alcohol, some spices, calise, candi sugar, but aslo something unfresh in the nose. Chocolate taste, but alcohol is overdone. Body is sweet, long lasting, alcoholic finish. On average good beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a small creamy light brown head that mostly diminishes. Body is hazy brown.
Aroma contains moderate malts (light bread, cookie, straw, caramel), light hops (pine, citrus fruits), light yeasts (earth, leather) and grape, raisin, apple, pear, cherry, cola, alcohol and spices.
Taste is light acidic, then sweet and finishing in light bitter.
Body is medium with creamy texture and lively carbonation.
It misses balance, the alcohol is too strong (like drinking booze) overpowering everything else.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Candy sugar and butter scotch, balanced with some bitterness. Not to much alcohol comes through, but there are better bets in this category

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl bottle. Dark and hazy brown with brownish head.
NOSE : quite fresh aromas citrus, toffee, chocolate, cheese, spices.
SIP : thick body with oily texture and low carbonation. Sweet tart, spiced bread like flavors. Burned malts and spices all the way. Quite mellow and delicate. Further on the flavors are still sweet with delicate burned. Finish is short and for a quad not that complex.
OVERALL : it’s a quad that is not complex but making it quite easy to drink. Thick body is great to swallow. The beer is not bad but I do understand why it might be disappointing for those who look for a strong quadrupel.
