33cl bottle, Geers. Pours like watered down maple syrup, partly smells like it as well: slightly nutty, with wild honey and caramel layers, weighed down by an inexpressive yeast and malt. Slightly sticky. Drinkable, not loveable dubbel. - So the labeled herbs/kruiden include hibiscus? Hm.

Produit bizarre évoluant entre des pâles saveurs maltées et acides... Guère de mousse, sans tenue. Peu d'amertume... Guère convaincante...

Bottled@HBF2014. Hazy orange colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, spicy, some mild yeastiness along with some sugary notes. Flavour is yeasty, spicy and fruity with some sweet maltiness kicking it up. Actually there’s also some kind of bitter elements in the finish.

330ml bottle (HBF2014, Friday)
Pale amber, small head, alas brief. Bugger all aroma initially, but a little bit of the crud at least gives you something to latch onto - that makes it a touch bready. Body is also thin, but again fills out with the crud. Still a bit weak, it’s just bready. Sweetish. A weak dubbel in every way.

Certes pas la bière de l’année, mais un dubbel correcte qui passe très bien et très rafraichissante. Seul les épices peuvent déconcerter un peu

Bottle from a friend. Hazy light brown, white head. Bitter finish with citrus, earthy notes, toffee, ripe fruits, grass and a bit of hops. Bitter finish with citrus, hops and toffee. Decent dubbel.

Bottle. Orange. Some fruity, apricotty, light orangy. Lightish, ok somber... Drinkable ale. Not watery, but weak in flavour.

33cl bottle, shared. Amber color, thin head. Almondy, nutty aroma. Flavor has almond, caramel, yeast. Thin. Sweet. Not my thing.

Amber to light brown in colour. Very yeasty aroma. Flavour is quite bland. Weak malts and yeast. Poor.
