Bottle sample @ 5de Brugs Bier festival. Dorée foncée, col beige épais. Profile belge avec pas mal de levure en avant plan, houblon fleuri sur un malt léger, note de grains et d’épices qui reste un peu trop en avant et laisse une place minime au houblon et au malt. Beer did not seem as bad, maybe because the guy poured me the bottom yeast and opened a new bottle afterwards.

Bottle from 2Be, Brugge with the Easter cheese board. Veiled gold with a fine collapsing head. Limey, slight farmyard and flowers, shaved citrus rind and pale malt aroma. Good, perfumed, coriandered flavour with a candied lemon and lime, green herb freshness. Nice tripel.

Not a bad tripel. Aroma of peach and banana. Yeast flavor, some bread, and more banana in the flavor. Tried with Jess and Dave at the Bruges bierfest in 2012.

Bottle sample @ Brugs Bierfestival ’12. Slightly hazy, golden coloured beer with a white head. Citrus, malts and other grains are in the aroma. Fresh taste, subtle and soft, medium sweetness accompanied by some bitterness in the end.

15 cl. sample from a 33 cl. bottle @ Bruges Beer Festival 2012: slightly hazy golden, small white head, smells strongly herbal, touch Belgian style citrus hops & I am getting some mint, taste is Belgian citrus hops, bitter, touch yeast, strongly herbal, touch coriander & once again I am getting oddly mint chewing gum – “hollywood” brand, body doesn’t seem full enough, enthusiasm was there only – lots of people getting it – because it is a new brewery (although they are not brewing yet), always up for Belgian having more breweries or at least new beers but this is “meh”

Small white head; golden beer with cold haze. Coriander to the detriment of anything else. Coriandersoup, with slick, buttery finsih. Light, bit of alcohol showing. Coriandersoup; ’nuff said.
