Draught @ Cat Bar Cat, Barcelona. Pours a black colour with a thick beige head. Aroma of coffee, mudcake, bread and grassy hops. Flavour is really smooth with roasted malts, cream, grassy hops, some biscuit and mild orange sweetness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and a roasty coffee finish. Really smooth and enjoyable.

Draught at Cat Bar, Barcelona. Opaque black with a smal beige head. Malty, buttery and slightly sweet nose with not much roast. Not much body, carbonation is low. Flavor is light sweet, with a tar note and quite some licorice in the finiah. Smooth and well balanced, but very much of a modern spanish microbrew as I’ve come to know - very subdued, low on flavor and with a strange buttery feel.

Apariencia: De color negro coronado por una capa de espuma beige no muy amplia, pero duradera. Aroma: Maltoso y matices intensos que recuerdan al cacao. Sabor: Maltas tostadas con notas a cacao y café muy presentes.

Buena porter. Color negro con reflejos rojizos y espuma beige bien formada. Aromas a cereal y cafe. En Boca muestra esos mismos elementos con un final amargo equilibrado muy rico. De momento, la mejor porter española que he probado.

On tap at CatBar in Barcelona. Pours a black body with an inch thick, dense and creamy, brown head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is grainy with some roasts, slightly sweet chocolates, and a bit of a sour acidity. Flavor is better. Lots of chocolates, a nice roast, some earth, a light bready caramel note, and a slight woodiness towards the end. Finishes dry and somewhat bitter with a harder roastiness. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a light carbonation. Overall, a decent porter. The aroma smelled a bit contaminated, but the flavor was solid. Not bad.
