Styles (1653), Taylor, Michigan, USA Jul 2, 2007 If you dig grand marnier you’ll dig this. Aroma is full of orange and alcohol, really hot at first, nose and palate adjusted though. I think Doug said it was around 8%? Flavor on par, really strong orange flavor, almost syrup like with some biting zest, alcohol really not notice in the flavor. All citrus zest in the finish. Mouthfeel takes a little hit from lack of carbonation, otherwise pretty solid beer. Pailhead (2299), Allen Park, Michigan, USA Jun 29, 2007 On tap: The aroma is sort of a sour orange and fruit aroma. It’s a transparent golden-orange with virtually no head, almost still looking. The flavor starts with orange, but sort of like a gummi-savor orange. In the background there is that flavor that I’ve had in other gluten free beers that is just sort of strange. It finishes with a light grapefruit bitterness. Haven’t had too many gluten-free beers, but this is the best one I’ve had so far.
