2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap. Clear straw yellow. Corn. Thinnish. They admittedly put this on the menu for... less discerning palates.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap at the brewery. Pours a clear bright yellow color with a small soapy head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma is like generic macro lager. Bread, corn, and weak grassy hops. Taste is a step above the macro lager but not by much. Bread and corn with stale hops. Watery. Crisp finish. Carbonation is smooth which definitely makes this easier to drink than Bud. Decent pale lager.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2014 Tap: Pale, pale yellow with clarity off the charts, topped with a small, foamy white film - not much of a head. Definitely has the BMC look down. Aroma is very faint; grains, pilsner malts, bread, some sweet corn-y notes. Kind of boring, but void of the cloying sweetness or metallic notes of many macro lagers, which is good. Taste is a grain filled backbone with some bready, lager yeast, faint lemon zest, & mild musty hops (with no real bitterness, just moderately leafy flavor) over the top. Super sharp carbonation, really dry finish. Crisp. Reminds me of a BMC lager minus the awful faults of too much DMS, metal, corn, or rice. Still kind of one-dimensional & a boring, but it might be okay as a macro converter?

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the brewpub. Pale golden color with a small white head. Light grainy nose. Clean, crisp beer with some white sugar sweetness, honey and lemon grass. Nice tingle on the tongue. Nice brewpub lager.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear yellowish gold with a white head that dissipated quickly to the edges and laced slightly. Aroma was full of buttered popcorn with some backing sweet grains and corn. Flavor was similar with lots of butter and some sweet grains and corn, but really didnít work for me.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draught pint at the brewery on 11/4/06
Not a clear yellow, but more a maize-tinged golden, with some pale gold highlights. Head is very small, white and recedes quickly to partial cover, leaving no lacing. Very high clarity with plenty of bubbles rising in the liquid.
The nose shows off both dusty (saaz?) hops which have a touch of light grassiness in them and then are gone. A bit of waxiness/crayons on the end? Very dry, papery and extremely attenuated. Extremely weak in strength, itís tough to find much in the aroma. A bit of raw barley-like graininess perhaps? Touch of butter? Mineral water? Reaching....
Very wet and full in the mouth, though the carbonation immediately goes to work, effortlessly pulling apart what little maltiness there is. Almost like baguette dough, with a hint of sweetness, it quickly dries out, while some dried grass notes surface for mere moments through the middle. Unfortunately, there is a fair bit of light green apple and waxiness on the finish, which halts any malt or hop flavors. Not overly watery for the style, highly carbonated though, not alcoholic. The sweetish doughy punch up front and papery/appley character on end does not produce a good harmony and makes what should be a quenching beer, rather difficult to drink.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Very weak, reminds me of a mix between budlight and bud select. If you can get this in a macro, why pay for a micro?

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap: standard pale golden in color with a ring of film. Light grassy hop aroma. Flavor the same with a little hop kick at the end. Very dry.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Deeper gold color, white head. Milder aromas of malt and a touch of hops. Light malt up front with a lighter herbal hop finish. Light bodied, some dryness. Not bad for a pale lager, yet itís still a pale lager.
