Growler shared at the 2010 RBSG. Poured a near clear orange amber with a tan head that dissipated slowly. Aroma was sweet with caramel but backed by a nice light fruitiness and a bit of toffee. Flavor was similar with caramel and sweet grains throughout with light fruits in the start and a bit of toffee rounding out the finish.

Very sweet. Typical of its style (which I’m not a big fan of), but it seems to do its style justice.

On tap: The aroma consists of caramel, toffee, fruit, citrus hops, and a hint or chocolate and alcohol. It pours a mostly transparent reddish-orange with a small off-white head with spotty lacing. The flavor starts with lots of caramel and toffee with just a hint of chocolate. There’s a pretty big fruity sweetness in the middle. The finish hs moderate citrus hops. Full bodied with soft carbonation and a syrupy mouthfeel. An excellent wheat wine.
