COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Pre-Prohibition or Classic American Pilsner style. Made with about 15% corn, which provides a subtle sweetness to accompany the crisp hop flavor.

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a clear crisp gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges and laced slightly.. Aroma was full of crisp grassy hops with a hint of bitterness and a nice sweet grain backing note. Flavor was similar with crisp grass notes with a hint of pine and then some backing sweet grains and corn.

Grassy herbal hops nose with light lemon and cotton candy. The taste is lightly sweet and lightly bitter with lots of hops, grassy and herbal, light honey malt. Excellent.

On tap: The aroma consists of light honey and faint grass. It pours a transparent gold with a small white head that leaves a nice sheet of lacing behind. The flavor starts with moderate sweet honey and a touch of citrus. The finish has light grass and floral notes. light-medium bodied with soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Overall, it’s solid, but a tad on the sweet side for my pilsner preferences.

Tap 7-22-08. Golden, decent white head, spotty lacing. Nice balance of spicy and floral hops, faint citrus. Nice malt background. Flavor on par, nice saaz/hallertau character up front, big grain/cereal backbone. Clean. Well done.
