2008: Our fourth version of this annual summer classic. This year's version is fermented with a yeast strain from Belgium, that is somewhat spicy. Made with almost 50% wheat, a touch of honey malt, sweet orange peel, and loads of blueberries. Not sweet, and subtle with the blueberry flavor. Unique and refreshing!

2008 MiBGF: Coppery hue with a small head. The aroma is BLUEBERRIES, oh a some lemon zest, orange peel, pepper, flowery and a bit buttery (maybe the honey?). The taste has a nice fruity twang but is restrained versus the nose. Moderate spicy and wheaty notes as well. The mouth feel is crisp and quite refreshing. Indeed a summer beer, very easy to drink and MIKEY LIKEY his blueberries.
