Sampled from the tap at the 2010 MBG Fall Fest. Poured black with a brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of roasted malts with some rye and coffee as well as a hint of tart cherry backing. Flavor had more tart cherries with roasted malts, bitter chocolate and rye combining nicely to round out the beer.
