#41 [Blind tasting @ Papsoe, Courtesy of yespr] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Spare lacework. Pale yellow colour. Light butter, caramel, grain, hint of grass. Light bodied with a soft carbonation. Light sweet and bitter flavour. Light sweet finish. 2 / 4 / 4 / 2 / 5 = 1.7

500ml bottle (Maxima, Vilnius)
Pale gold, brief head. Vaguely lagery aroma, typical Euro macro, mostly a slightly sweet grainy maltiness. OK carbonation, watery palate. Taste, again simple bland grainy maltiness, and a finish that’s in part a bit of burnt caramel and toast - a bit like when you splash some on the sauna stones - and a touch hoppy too. Throughout there were hints of alcohol - retronasally while it’s in the mouth in particular. Not horrific, but not very good.

(Bottle on 2008-06-20) Very pale golden. Clear. Big white head. Very mild nose contains some hops. Light palate with some carbonation. Slightly hops and hint of malts in taste. Boring.

Clear golden colour with a white head. Aroma of grain and malt. Flavour of sweet malt and grain - very uninteresting!

Yellow colour with a white head. Malty, grainy sweet aroma with a note of hay. Malty, sweet flavor with a light dry grassy note.

Bottled. Golden coloured. Pretty dull below average Eastern European pale lager. Some papery notes in the aroma and in the flavour. Light to medium bodied. Not much hops.

Bottle at "The Amberspecialist" (thanks)before a KTL concert. Clear yellow - white head. Thin and boring. White bread, egg, cardboard, light candlewax.

Blond color. Some paper aroma, quite bad. Normal Lager, with a strange fruity off-flavor.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear, golden with a white head that leaves a discreet lacing. Lightly sweet malt aroma. Medium body, lightly sweetish malts and a soft finish without much bitterness. Harmless. 021107

From bottle, blind tasting at Papsoes - beer no 41. Pours pale clear yellow with a diminished white head. Aroma is dry and mild malty. Flavour is a bit buttery and dry malty. Has a dry grassy finish.

Bottled. A light golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of brewing cereal. The flavor is sweet malty - again combined with notes of brewing cereal.
