2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle from unrecalled source (catching up on historic ratings of Lithuanian beer). Poured golden with a big white head. Aroma of sweet malt, corn, with touch of citrus. Quite sweet, texture is thin, dry bitterness to finish.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
500 ml can. BB 24/01/15. (Iki) Pasvalys, Lithuania.
Clear pale yellow colour with a tiny white ring.
Sweetness, dry hay malt and earthy notes in the aroma.
The flavour is weak with mild grassy dryness, hay, malt and some honey sweetness. Blah.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
500ml can, kindly shared by djoeye. Firm, chalk white lager head. Near-clear, pale golden body. Aroma of hard water with grassy notes. Mid-sweet taste of sweet grain and grass. Short-lived ending. Soft carbonated. Rather tasteless, but inoffensive (Tromsø 17.01.2014).

1.2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
50 cl alu-can 5%abv b@supermarket in Marijampole Lithuania.
Chalk white head, pale body, not all clear.
Skunky hops to the nose, methane...
Tastes pale malt, some hops, not bad but really the less.
Mild watery bready to palate.
Ends with little... just hints from vanilla bread.
Easy to drink, but utterly boring.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Golden can (500ml): best before 7 Apr 2013, poured into a bulbous ’Palm’ tulip at home on 1 Mar 2013. The can has golden foil over the opening end: almost posh looking! My can clearly states (not in English) that it is brewed by the ’Volsas Engelman’ company, not Ragutis.
Usual lager/pilsner looks: pale gold, bright, clean and clear. Typical thin, none staying head of wispy white bubbles too.
No real aroma to talk about: some damp cardboard with hop implants, otherwise nothing.
The taste had a sweet, mildly malty front and middle, with a mini hop bitterness towards the end: nicely balanced but with little flavour or character to set it apart. The finish goes back towards the sweeter end of the flavours as the mouth dries, so not a hop laden brew at all.
Body depth about right for the strength, a summer drink I’d have again.

Bottled. A pale yellow beer with a white head. Similar to the other Lithuania pale lagers. Nothing special.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, from an ethnic food shop in Scunthorpe. Pale gold, moderate white lasting head and good condition. Low grain and peppery hops in the nose, quite dry in the mouth with some chalky bitterness apparent, along with low malty sweetness, returning hop notes in the finish.
