Flřska as Fortas Šviesusis Alus, bought in a Maxima 24 hour super market in Vilnius, tasted at Hotel Gile. Colour: Pale yellow, short bubbly white head. Aroma: strange grainy hoppish. Mouthfeel: thin. Flavopur: mild with grains, something bit fruitish hoppish, light bitterness. Boring.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 FatPhil (6213) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - APR 20, 2009
500ml bottle (Supermarket, Vilnius)
Initially worried that this was just the same as Savas šviesusis, but they are different 5% pale lagers by the same brewery. Pale yellow, more persistent head than savas, but that’s not saying much. Bugger all aroma - maybe a touch floury or doughy. OK carbonation, but watery palate. Swimming pool retronasals. Insipid taste - some sweet caramel and vanilla. Very not good, but not exactly nasty. Still well worth avoiding.

Boring golden body with an average white frothy head. One-dimensioned malty/hoppy aroma with sweet hints. Taste carries bad corny, CO2, and chemical notes. Ends with a repellent CO2/metallic aftertaste. Stay away from that one!
