Appearance: Dark brown with ruby hue, medium tanned head with medium fine ornamentallace.3+
Nose Sweet roasted character with sweet caramel feel, hint of anise and sweet ginger.6-
Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied. Sweet caramel base with Belgian spices like. Remind me of Christmas cake. Lacking true deep dark roast ,with out that this beer became far too cloyingly sweet.

Dark brown coloured with a small off-white head. Malty aroma of hay, grain and caramel. Sweet finish.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Apple juice and a hint of licorice in the aroma. Sweet, sugary roasty flavor with licorice. Sticky mouthfeel. Disappointing.

bottle from Jola/Wine of Dreams Warszawa. Deep black colour, small beige head. Sweet, sugary nose with caramel. Extremely sweet, lots fo gingerbread, cinnamon and chocolate, also honey and caramel.

Bottle (excavated by Quack-Duck!): Cough syrup and coke in the sweet-malty nose, some x-mas spices underneath, sweet flavour, medium bodied and soft; coke and spices in the sweet, sticky citrussy finish. This must be a joke.......

Bottle courtesy Saxo. Frothy off-white good mostly deminishing head. Dark red amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Herbal and medicine notes. Moderate bitter very herbal flavor. Caogh-medicine like. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. very strange.

Bottle from Dom Piwa. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are caramel, cough syrop, citrus and hops.

30.10.2010, 0,5l Bottle. Dark brown to black colour with tan head. Aroma is malty with a loy of sweetness. Its very sweet and there is a strange taste of lemonade, citrus or cola? This beer taste like its a mix of porter and coke. There is also some notes of something I do like - Coffe and dark malts. To sweet for me I think.

Bottled, 500ml at Ristorante Arlecchino, Krakow. Dark brown to black with beige head. Quite a smoky note to this but with a carbonated cardboard body. Some bitterness, honeyed and fruity.

Bottled. Black with a brief, beige head. Pretty spicy aroma; ginger, lime, nutmeg. A bit too sweet.

Bottle. Black with beige head. Also very sweet but not as bad as Fortuna Czarne Miodowe.
