Bottle 500ml. @ home.

Clear medium yellow color with a small large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, sweet malt, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110113]

This beer is pretty good. It has a slightly hay, sweetly smell. The taste is clean and refreshing. It doesn’t stick on your palate and attack it, it’s like a delicate rush of clean sudsy love over your palate cleansing with every sip. I was impressed with it considering the low rating but its really pretty good. I could drink this on a hot sunny day BBQing with friends all day.

500 ml bottle. From Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. Clear golden colour with small white head. Malty, slightly hoppy aroma. Malty and grassy hoppy flavour. Nothing wrong with this brew but nothing interesting either.

(bottle) Clear, bubbly golden coloured hue with a big foamy white head. Sweet and grainy malty nose with an ascorbic citric and doughy touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied with a flat carbonation. Pale malty, slightly strawy taste with notes of sour-dough; moderately sweet malty and slim finish with a faint level of bitterness. Not completely bad but very boring. 06.IX.09

Powertrip (999) - Calgary, Alberta, CANADA - JAN 9, 2009
Basic looking. Pale yellow...standard lager. Some herb-infused hops in the nose, and a little pepper. Gritty and almost metalic taste right off the start....then slight malt with a whole lot of unbleached white bread. Long and lingering sour finish. Not to much of a pleasure, aside from a slightly above average aroma.

Bottled(500ml). -Golden coloured, medium sized white head, grassy nose. Malty, grassy and hoppy with notes of cardboard. Quite bready in the finish, but still one-dimensional beer.

Snappin’ fresh bottle from shop, Hamburg. Almost fruity with very light hopping, a beautifully natural-tasting lager. Very light color. A bit simple/sweet/grapey. Good!

Munich import. Standard pale looks with a thinning head of froth. Light grassy hop aroma with a hints of spruce and menthol. Silky palate and mouth hinting at rubber, marzipan, cardboard, slight conifer, a crumble of digestive. A few off notes, but quite a quenching, uncomplicated helles. At the price.
