Snappin’ fresh bottle from shop, Hamburg. Almost fruity with very light hopping, a beautifully natural-tasting lager. Very light color. A bit simple/sweet/grapey. Good!

Munich import. Standard pale looks with a thinning head of froth. Light grassy hop aroma with a hints of spruce and menthol. Silky palate and mouth hinting at rubber, marzipan, cardboard, slight conifer, a crumble of digestive. A few off notes, but quite a quenching, uncomplicated helles. At the price.

Bottle, 500ml. A clear golden colour. Aroma is grassy hops. Taste is rice, slightly hoppy, with a little citrus. Moderate carbonation. A fairly typical lager.

Bottle, from a supermarket in Forchheim, July 2005. Gold, moderate white head and gentle condition. Low fruity malt in the nose, gentle sweet malt in the mouth with a hint of hop floweriness, low hop bitterness in the finish with a slight malty sweetness.

Bottle. Faint grainy aroma. Lots of grain in the taste though, and regretably so. It tastes like they left a bag of corn sitting in a hot pool for a few days, then bottled it.
