COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Komes Potrójny / Komes Triple is a strong top fermenting beer of a golden hue. This traditional style is being developed since the beginning of the 16th century when the technology of the pale malt preparation being essential for its production was developed. That was the time when the top fermenting pale malt beer originated. KOMES POTRÓJNY is an all malt beer hopped in the open fermentation vats with a Styrian Golding hop type. It pleasures the palate with a fat malty, substantial taste and a well defined hoppy aroma. The key element of the slow taste maturation of Komes Potrójny is the application of the traditional, demanding method of beer refermentation in the bottle.

The complete development of taste complexity lasts for 18 months. During this time Komes Potrójny is changing its taste from the fresh and fruity to the dry and complex.

We were brewing our beers without rush, devoting them many time and care – take a joy of them in the same way. May they be the source of your idle enjoyment. A beer maturing in the bottle. A non-pasteurized beer.

Contains : water, pale barley malt, sugar, aromatic hops of Styrian Golding type, bitter hops, yeast. Contains yeast sediment. Alc. 9.0%, ext. 19 P.

500ml bottle. Hazy orange color. Medium size, white head, stays. Shit, malty, sweet, straws in aroma. Metallic, malty, apples, packed with minerals in taste. Way too fizzy. Quick tick you said Phil?

500ml bottle (BeerGallery Luxury, Krakow)
Minerally and alcoholic aroma. Belgian cookie-cutter yeast shows in the aroma. And more the taste, it’s fairly yeasty in fact. Some banana in the finish. Way too hot, thank you.

Lightly cloudy blond beer, lightly saturated, nice broken white foamy head. Smells malty, spicy, sweet, Curacao and a nice yeast smell. Tastes lightly sweet, malty, subtly spiced and candy rock sugar.

W smaku bardzo delikatne pomimo wysokiego ekstraktu. Smakuje i pachnie troche takim tanim ruskim szampanem.

Slight foggy gold color w good wt head, simple grany malt aroma and taste with fruit and a sweet full palate. Some pear and apple and spice. Strong alcohol is decently concealed.

Derbeth (263) - Kraków, POLAND - MAY 2, 2014
Bottle with date 08.04.2015. Aroma is white wine, apples, some peach, alcohol and malt. When warmed up, alcohol becomes dominant, but it’s not unpleasant. Amber colour, frothy head with rather poor lacing. Light bitterness coming from alcohol. Average carbonation. Too small fruitiness to cover alcohol. Not bad, but rather disappointing.

Aromat mało przypominający belgijskie piwa. Jest lekko owocowo i przede wszystkim alkohol. Smak słodowy, lekko kwaśny.

Bottle. Batch of 2012. Dark gold, clear, minimum head. Aroma of fruit (apricot), biscuit, caramel and - surprisingly - metal, though it’s probably from hops. Taste is sweet, but with nice bitter counterpart. Low carbonation. It’s not a stylish belgian triple, but quite nice beer anyway.

kingvit (105) - - APR 19, 2014
Aroma: yeast, bubblegum, vanilla; Appearance: minimal head; Taste: medium sweetness, light bitterness, light sourness; Palate: long finish, thick texture, intense carbonation Great price to quality ratio; was refermented in the bottle for almost 10 months, could potentially be improved by storing 8 more months to increase complexity and dryness. A Polish beer with Belgian quality.
