Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, - AUG 31, 2011
bottle from Piotr & Pawel Warszawa Zoliborz. Clear amber-golden colour, large off-white head. "Dry" aroma of roasted malts. Medium-bodied, malty with lots of roasetd malts, quite earthy, hints of grain and sourdough. Pleasantly hoppy, quite bitter in the lingering finish. There may be a faint touch of smoke in the far background. Smooth and velvety palate. Seriously underrated in my opinion.

A light malt aroma, some honey maybe. this is tasty at first but has a malt that I don’t like too much. Okay.

Really dont like the aroma, like poo. Its true! Poo. Golden colour and clear. Has a white head, fully diminishing. Aroma is sweet and artificial. Creamy texture.

Bottle bought in Poland. Creamy white fair mostly lasting head. DArk yellow colour. Ugly light malty and hopy aroma with strong strange meat note. Light bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate. Rubbish.

Schroppfy (2335) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - SEP 27, 2010
Bottled, 500 ml. Best by date well Jan 2011. Quite "sizzling" head initially, settling down but remaining after a while. Lively, spritzy palate. Conveys a lot of mixed, rough grain - some rye and sourdough sharpness - multigrain sweet wheatiness too. Minimal hop character in the aroma; maybe a little flowery, some smoke. Earthy, multigrain, slightly wet cardboard flavor but cut through by the sharp carbonation. Flavor also has sweet caramel but not hugely so. Some smoke in the flavor or have I just lost my mind?

Bottle. Clear amber, off white head. Sweet malt, no bitterness at all. Did I try the same beer as the first two raters? This was not so good.
