Golden with some carbonation. No real flavour just bland but inoffensive. Might be reasonable on a warm summers day if nothing else is available but otherwise one to be avoided.

April 2007 from BA> Green 33cl (11.2fl oz) bottle, claims to be an Italian Export Lager and a premium lager at that. Poured into a Veltins stemmed 0.2 litre glass. Pale and no head to talk of, very light golden yellow, with bubbles rising through the body then disappaiting without adding to the non-head already there. Slight floral aroma, but not a lot of anything. Floral taste too, a weird, sweet flavour, not for me. I have tried many lagers in my time, this one was drank in my garden on one of those rare hot sunny days we sometimes have in April. It is a poor example of a Euro fizz beer, no body to the beer, very watery in fact. The worst Italian lager I have ever had.

A: The pour on this is very pale yellow/straw in color with a short lived white head. S: Intense aromas of corn, straw, grass, and garbage. Very, very skunky, too. Despite the rather pungent off notes, it’s also watery. Mild to moderate sweetness. T: Things don’t vary much on the palate. Moderately bitter, with plenty of grass and garbage. Overcooked and potentially rotten corn with a nice cardboard flavor to it as well. M: Light in body with a medium level of carbonation. O: This was very unenjoyable. Not that I really expected it to be.

Bottle shared by beerboxer. Pours clear golden with a modest white head and a floral aroma. There is a watery pale malt flavor with a bit of grape. Refreshing, but not remarkable.

As Forza Italia at 4.8%. Shared by Beerboxer. Poursgold with a white head. Mild grassy aroma. It’s very lightly bready, has a vinous aspect, and is slightly grassy. Better than expected.

One of the few beers that I have had that is almost without aroma. There is a touch of adjunct malt and even less hops but that’s all. The appearance is golden with a small head. The flavor is weak and like the aroma but not offensive, mostly adjunct malt and metallic hops. The palate is typical for the style. Overall a drinkable but weak beer.

Bottle. Moderately sweet malty aroma. Golden body, thin white head. Flavor is bready, sweet, with a slight bitterness in the finish. Pleasant.

Bottle from the Dodgi’ Deli, at just 39p it had to be done. Had this 17-03-08 Golden in colour with high carbonation and with white bubbly head. Unusual taste at first with strange garden refuse aroma and seeping into the mouth, I know that sounds bizzare but that was my first thought, that warm wet decaying grassiness. This taste soon disappeared and it mellowed to be a bit cardboardy and bland, honey on nose after a while, its ok.

Mungo (2472) - Southampton, Hampshire, ENGLAND - APR 19, 2007
Bottle (from Bottles of Botley). Reasonably full tasty malt. Could do with more hop to rouind it off. Suprisingly good for a cheap lager even if it does finish a little sweet and unrefined.
