3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Tanglewood Branch in Fayetteville, AR. Pours a clear, golden-copper colored body with a finger-width, creamy and frothy, beige head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is grapefruit citrus florals, a light grass, a lightly sweetened caramel, and a hint of bread. Flavor is similar. Floral grapefruits with a light, somewhat bready caramel sweetness. Finishes dry with a medium grassy and earthy bitterness, a hint of toast, and a nice grapefruit note. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty well done pale ale. Nicely hopped with a good amount of floral grapefruits that is dry and balanced with a light sweetness. Solid beer.
