2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear, light golden straw colour with a two-finger sized, bubbly white head that quickly halves in size and finally settles as a thin, soapy lacing.
Almost no noticeable aroma from this one other than a slight hint of corn and a background skunky bitterness.
There is a little corn that matches the nose and what initially comes across as citrus quickly turns out to be a skunky, bitter finish. Iím not too impressed with this one, although to be fair I wasnít expecting much.
Thin & light bodied but not quite watery, there is a slight tang to the beer as well with a dry finish.
This one is a pretty basic, mass-produced pale lager that I would rate as about average for the style. It doesnít have much of a smell or taste really although itís not quite as bland as some others I have tried & it is drinkable if not enjoyable. Skunky at the end though.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
300ml bottle. Pale straw with a rapidly diminishing white head; a rather odd aroma - furniture polish and lemon sherbert perhaps; watery with a weak malt flavour; and just a trace of hops in the finish. Decidedly odd.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
300ml bottle. Pours gold with a large head. Aroma is corn and a weird metallic lemon. Metallic twang is there too. Taste is quite like lemon shandy. Short finish. Nothing smart about this.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Thin, watery, slight metallic taste, slightly unpleasant on the palate, I suppose this is meant to be drunk straight from the bottle, but I donít see how this is a "premium beer"

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
UPDATED: APR 9, 2013 Bottle. Pale yellow colour, faint aroma, okay taste for a lager, was refreshing and better than regular Fosters if thereís a choice between the two.
