From 660ml bottle. A pleasant surprise! Caramel flavour which gives way to a refreshing, smooth lager. If youíre looking for a an easy drinking lager with more taste than your average lagers, this could be the one for you.

After a long search, Iíve finally harpooned this whale. 300ml clear bottle, 4.8%, BB June 2015. Pale orange, clear, sparkling, small foamy white head, full lacing. Aroma is light, corny, some pencil shavings. Body is light, foamy, tingly carbonation. Taste is very light - so light that I can taste the booze. A little dusty. Dry and refreshing finish. Watery and plain, but no bad flavours at all. A fine pale lager, better than expected. Can see why people would like it.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
A decent standard lager. The aroma is faint hops and cooked vegetable with a dark yellow appearance. The taste is typical for the style - easy drinking and refreshing with a hint of caramel. The mouth feel is thicker than the standard Fosters but not as carbonated and the taste is also slightly improved. Overall nothing bad about this but certainly not exceptional.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2015 This doesn?t have the same distinctive taste of the regular Foster?s, but I prefer it. A decent after work grab out the fridge beer but it won?t win any prizes. Perhaps a little sweet.

Bottles usually seem really flat with little bubbles, on the other hand itís easy on the stomach and not too fizzy

Bottle. A slight improvement on normal Fosters, but mainly a drab effort. Golden with a medium sweetness and easy to drink.

dreadful awful dreck. This manages the feat of being even worse than the 4.0% Fosters we are subjected to here in the UK.
