Thin, sweet, lightly carbonated. Nice colour. Smells like an empty sweetcorn tin. Very Very bland, but ok to drink Ice cold in a big 20-pack. Quaffable swill I think is the right expression, cheap too. Virtually no hop flavour at all, like corona, miller, sweet golden lagers in clear bottles, meant to be drunk from the bottle. Lager for people who don’t like lager, or for people like me who can drink a hell of a lot in one sitting and need a constant supply of faintly beery tasting liquid.

Okay . Drunk after some efes and this had more of the skunky aftertaste. Ok and better than some cheaper lagers.

Poor beer, it’s something you would drink at a party when all the good beer has gone. Great colour but lacks depth, favour and punch.

30cl bottle. Pours clear golden colour with a mid-sized white head. Aroma of pale malt, grain, water. Taste is grainy, mild hoppy, cereals, watery palate.

courtesy of Mich Gfeller - bright golden beer with a little foam left; very shy nose with light papery tones; fizzy, quite harsh palate and thin-bodied; light buttery and bitter corny and papery finish - next one please

Drank straight from the bottle at the Bansdale darts tournament - a night when I should have taken more beer. Cadged a bottle of this from Mark B to avoid having to drink Budweiser which was the only other beer on offer. This was better, but was still pretty bad.

Awful piss water that is so bad it has to be served nearly frozen to be able to drink it.

From 660ml bottle. A pleasant surprise! Caramel flavour which gives way to a refreshing, smooth lager. If you’re looking for a an easy drinking lager with more taste than your average lagers, this could be the one for you.

After a long search, I’ve finally harpooned this whale. 300ml clear bottle, 4.8%, BB June 2015. Pale orange, clear, sparkling, small foamy white head, full lacing. Aroma is light, corny, some pencil shavings. Body is light, foamy, tingly carbonation. Taste is very light - so light that I can taste the booze. A little dusty. Dry and refreshing finish. Watery and plain, but no bad flavours at all. A fine pale lager, better than expected. Can see why people would like it.

A decent standard lager. The aroma is faint hops and cooked vegetable with a dark yellow appearance. The taste is typical for the style - easy drinking and refreshing with a hint of caramel. The mouth feel is thicker than the standard Fosters but not as carbonated and the taste is also slightly improved. Overall nothing bad about this but certainly not exceptional.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2015 This doesn?t have the same distinctive taste of the regular Foster?s, but I prefer it. A decent after work grab out the fridge beer but it won?t win any prizes. Perhaps a little sweet.
