The only difference between this and something like Bud, Coors or Miller is that this piece of junk is from another country

Insert íFosters...Australian for _______í joke here. This is another beer that tries to play the foreign role to make Americans feel like they arenít pansies. All it really does is put us all back in our respective places.

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2003 When your choices are limited, this is a solid choice. Good bittering for a mass-production brew. Rerate 1/16/03: A few notes of caramel, a little bump for coming in a quart can. Defintely the best thing that you can get at the minit markit in a quart.

There is nothing wrong with this beer, but at the same time it is completely forgettable. Aroma is minimal, palate has no bite. Iím not buying it but it might be the best there is to drink at somebody elseís party.

Hereís another beer with a lot of hype and very little substance. All show and no go. People gladly hand over import pricing for what they believe to be an authentic Australian classic. This beer is brewed in Canada and shipped to the U.S. so they can still put the word íimportedí on the cans. Actually the Australian version is no better so at least itís fresher coming from Canada. It is bland and very, very ordinary. Why pay the price when this beer isnít even as good as Old Style, Ballantine or Schlitz? If you donít believe me, do a blind taste test and let your own taste buds show you.

Gíday. Fosterís--itís Australian for average. I like the cans, so it gets a few more points, but tastewise thereís just nothing much going on.
