Filtered and pasteurised. Available with added carbon dioxide in keg, can and bottled formats. First brewed in 1887.
Available in Britain as Export.
"A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability."

Fairly drinkable for a pilsner. Simple brew that is light on the palate. A dinky-di easy drinking beer from the land down under that rates better than most American macros.

An average Lager with some cool commercials. I don’t like this beer and yet I don’t hate it. Would buy again. Sometimes I like to open a can of Fosters sit down in front of the telle and watch Coo-Coo the Hurkey Jerky Dancer.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2015 Re-rating: Itís been a while. Pours a clear pale straw with a decent white head that tries to stick around. A nice looking lager. What little aroma there is, isnít offensive: hay, floral, slight basement aromas, and some cooked vegetables. Taste is way off balance. All bitter with some salt. Very little sweetness. Some sour. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Back yard brew.
