COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Filtered and pasteurised. Available with added carbon dioxide in keg, can and bottled formats. First brewed in 1887.
Available in Britain as Export.
"A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability."

Australia’s reputation for heavy drinking is not based on the strength of their beers but rather in the size of their cans.. As for the beer itself, it’s too sweetish for my taste, with a kind of sweetness that reveals a departure from the Reinheidtsgebot.

Meaningless streamlined lager. Easy to drink. Okay when it’s really hot.

not muchgoing on here, disappointed with this stuff- very much like every other factory brew. i think the intersting looking cand and fun commercials are the reason it is popular

Another very middle of the road beer. If it wasnt for the great commercials and cool can, this one might get lost in the shuffle.

You have gotta love the oil can. Fosters is one of the best mainstream lagers i have ever had. There is no weakness in its taste and i like that with a lager. This goes great with a cook out.
