On a plane. Malty aroma. Typical mass produced lager. Rather clean. Looks quite good though. Golden color, clear, nice head for this kind of beer. A bit of nice-looking lacing. No taste, no bitterness, a bit sweet. Watery, not very pleasant. Don’t really like it.

Can at home. Golden liquid, medium white head. Aroma of odd hops, not good. Some notes of bready malts to go with it. Light sweetness and bitterness. Watery. Bad lager.

Originally rated on 7/6/08.Pours a light yellow, lightly carbonated body with a thin white head. Thin mouthfeel, a little watery. Aroma was slightly malty, taste of malts and aftertaste almost like old white bread. A below average lager.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml can. Poured clear gold with a bleach white head. Heavy malty nose. Light body, average carbonation, crisp finish. Sweet malt flavour, earthy and a bit musty, notes of barley, just enough bitterness.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Slightly more character than the average generic lager: more grain and slightly more hop content. Quite sweet with apple and pear, but this is mitigated somewhat by the spritzy carbonation. Not bad, but one’s enough.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Neat 32oz can! Neat dining room!
Pours a pale golden color with a medium sized head and decent lacing on the glass.
The aroma is surprisingly yeasty, somewhat sweet smelling, a little malty, a little herbal, a little play dough.
The flavor is surprisingly unique from your typical big biz pale lager, it’s certainly got a herbal hoppy flavor with a low but effective level of bitterness. It’s sweet-ish with a little corniness, but certainly just as much discernible malt character. It’s reasonably clean and yes lightly yeasty/doughy but not in any sort of overwhelmingly annoying way.
This is just fine.

1.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Rated from old notes. Initial sip is foul and malodorous. Can only go up from here, which fortunately it does. Settles into a workmanlike if dull lager with mild bitterness. No worse with food than water.
