2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Jonb5 (241) - Greater London, - MAR 11, 2013330ml bottle, brewed by Alken Maes in Belgium, poured into Leffe Chalice. Golden colour, small head which disappeared fairly quickly, clear, looked a bit flat. Aroma was syrup with some yeast. Tasted corn and syrup.
Slight bitterness in the finish. Sticky texture, fairly thick body, carbonation gave it a coarse edge. Was disappointed by this because Alken-Maes brew some passable beers, would honestly prefer to drink the kegged, brewed in GB version.

1 Pt. 9.4 Fl. Oz. Can. Not really sure why I’m rating this one but here it goes... Poured clear yellow fizzy, large white head and lots of lacing. Malt and yeast aroma. Taste is consistent very bready definitively same style of most macro pale lagers... It’s a beer with a purpose, perhaps for a warm day, or one to down a lot of them while hanging with your buddies, nothing really great here.

Bottle. Poured a clear bubbly pale yellow color with no head. Taste of grain, corn, and caramel malts. High carbonation, thin body. Just another boring pale lager

This beer tastes like sawdust and cardboard, even at very cold temperatures...... Disappointing.
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Impavidus (62) - Budapest, HUNGARY - APR 28, 2013
bottle
Blond color, slight foam.
The aroma is very slight with notes of malt.
flavor is slightly malty and ending on a very slight bitterness.
Light-bodied with a slight touch of alcohol, the poor and watery bitter finish. Typical mega-industrial beer... trashy.
1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 queenholly (1857) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - APR 28, 2013
Bottle. Strange sour malt aroma -- it must be roo funk. Clear gold with a small, quickly dissipating white head. Sweet and sour malt flavor. Light watery body, moderate carbonation.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 mzaar (890) - Varberg, SWEDEN - APR 14, 2013
På fat. Smakar både uppfriskande och rätt gott, med lime, gräs och en örtighet. Maltsötman ligger bra i munnen. En standardlager, men helt okey.
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 vadie (210) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 11, 2013
Jaune pale avec très peu de mousse. L’arome de blé/paille. Le goût est de malt avec très peu d’houblon. Il est maigre. Pour une bière légèr de haute production c’est pas pire, clairement pas offensive! Juste, bien, pas bonne.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Silvan7 (135) - Samarate, ITALY - APR 10, 2013
tap @ Prince of Wales.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 vvesside (152) - California, USA - APR 9, 2013
As far as cheap beer goes, this is one of my favorites. Some good flavor and leaps and bounds ahead of a coors light or bud light.
