Filtered and pasteurised. Available with added carbon dioxide in keg, can and bottled formats. First brewed in 1887.
Available in Britain as Export.
"A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability."

Poured a golden amber colour with a two-to three-finger white foamy head that retained well for a while then collapsed to a thin bubble line. Poor lacing. Moderate to high carbonation. Aroma of malt. Taste initially slightly sweet followed by a very slight bitterness. Light body. Finish short and bland. Aroma, tastes and palate comparable with other large commercial brewery lagers.

Golden with a foamy white head, fades to hardly anything quite quickly. Aroma is floral and malty. Taste is sweet, floral and honey. Some earthiness and malts. Fairly watery. Light body, medium carbonation. As far as mass produced lagers go this isn’t the worst but I still wouldn’t drink it by choice.

Beer drank from a tall pint glass for the rating. The aroma was a mix of grainy and earthy hops with some barley. It had a light, clear gold color with rising bubbles and a modest, foamy white head with average retention, and light cling and lacing. The taste was a modest bitter grainy hops flavor. It is a fairly thin beer with a somewhat dry mouthfeel and average carbonation.

This is basically Pabst Blue Ribbon in a prettier can. Would not buy again. About what I expected though, sadly. If you want to try this beer, but save money. Drink a PBR and pretend you are drinking a Foster’s. Honestly I think I prefer PBR to this, since PBR is one of my favorite cheap go to beers.

Bottle (Old Notes)-Pours a clear golden with a small head. Aroma of corn and sweetness. Taste of the same. This light bodied brew didn’t do much for me.

Eye: light gold with no head Nose: malty-veggie aroma, some alcohol Mouth: fizzy, lively carbonated, some alcohol, some malts, watery --- Had to do it, I promised myself to rate some "tasty" lager sometime to remember what eurolager world has to offer.

This is the worst beer that I have ever had..seriously, a terrible beer. Somehow holds its place (among other culprits) on supermarket shelves in the UK..but I guess that beers like this really make us appreciate great craft beer that much more! Sorry Australia, but this is truly naff.
