1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
I was on a cruise on my honeymoon, and a can of this stuff was as cheap as a bottle of Bud, which was pretty much the only other beer served outside of the main bar. Pours a light straw color with an overly-fizzy, force-carbonated head. Smell is yeasty and corn. Taste is actually not bad considering the price, but still watered down metallic corn with some noticeable yeast. I was drinking mostly for effect, and I could barely feel it 24 ounces in. This is not bad for the price (1.99 in most places for a 24oz can) but if you can get a better beer... get a better beer.

0,5l blik in York, moutig in de geur en erg zoet in de smaak, weinig aan te beleven. Erg commercieel pils.

Lager commercial cette fois-ci, version de l’australie, ressemblant a toute autre version médiocre des autres pays...

FROM NOTES: August 12, ’12.
From a 750ml fat-boy oil can into a shaker pint.
A: Strong grain aroma with corn notes and a slightly skunky note.
A: Pours a very light golden color and holds a 1/4 inch head and has decent lacing.
T: Follows the noes, although flavor is very subdued.
P: Thin body with heavy carbonation.
O: It’s hella hot outside and this Foster’s is ice cold, Probably about the perfect situation to enjoy this beer.

Looks ok, lively blonde with ample head. But tastes metal, leaves a metallic bitter aftertaste on your tongue. I’m sorry to say that those from down under really have different taste compared to mine.

CRAP BEER. Tastes of tin. Only use to wash down Wild Blue. This beer is watery, lacks in flavor, and smells of oldness. Looks like watered down straw...water.

Bready aroma. Pale, clear, minimal head. Refreshing, light body, not very hoppy. Alcohol kick mix with alkalinity all over the palate.

The only Australian beer I’ve tasted so far, brewed in USA though. I drank it for the first time during a summer, good memories. In some aspects it’s quite average, specially with color, regular blond. But, its flavor is very good, the combination I like, sweet at the beginning and a bit bitter at the end. It has also a malty-hop aroma.
