Pours a straw yellow color with foamy white head. Smell is that of similar lagers, a little bit of hops and malts, grass and rice. Light grassy and slight hop flavors. Thin body and lots of carbonation.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from the famous 25 OZ oil can into a pint glass. This beer is clear yellow with moderate carbonation. It has a slight lager corn flavor and is better had very cold. I know this is the Australian example of Moosehead Beer to Canadians (a not so popular brand exported to the States). An average AAL style beer.

Awful piss water that is so bad it has to be served nearly frozen to be able to drink it.

0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Dark yellow with a Small head. Light aroma of water and malt. Ends with some light bitterness that helps it’s separate from bad American macros. It’s pricey for what it is.

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
At an amusement park in the oil can. Taste of malt, and a touch of lemon. Aroma of weak malt and little else. This park draws tons of Aussies on vacation and it may have been telling that they had the Fullers

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Draught at the Priory Centre, St Neots. Golden yellow, very carbonated. Not quite clear. A bit of malt, a bit of lemon in the aroma. Sweet almost salty taste, short finish. Bit of carbonation makes the texture passable. And passable is the best word to describe the beer.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Stereotypical lager, high carbonation, everything else is typical. Slightly better from lager beers in EU and America. Lately, it is difficult to find it in Central Europe.

Still swill, but probably one of the best of the swills. I never really mind drinking Fosters, especially from an Oil Can. I’d rather cook with it than drink it, but if someone offered me one, I don’t think I’d turn it down. It’s not bad for chain restaurant beer, or if nothing else available.
