COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Filtered and pasteurised. Available with added carbon dioxide in keg, can and bottled formats. First brewed in 1887.
Available in Britain as Export.
"A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability."

Better and much lighter than I expected. Not much bitterness, nice clean taste. I agree---a definite improvement over the usual Bud or Miller. In short, I’ve had much worse. If I can’t find what I’m really looking for, this is a good interim choice.

Big oil can into lager glass. Typical light straw-yellow color with white head. Aroma of malt sweetness, metallic and a slight floral note. Taste is typical pale malt sweetness but there actually is a slight bitter hop note, very slight. It’s something! Light body, heavy carbonation, generally watery with a slightly sweet finish. I went in not expecting much and this came out a little ahead. Some flavor and a slight hop bitterness note, nothing groundbreaking.

Draught and Can. This is a little hoppier and has more medium body than a lot of other pale lagers - still not good stuff.

Typical pale lager - not a whole lot to say. Mild aroma, mild taste, little head. It had a medium-light body, which is better than many pale lagers.

25.4 fl oz / 750mL can into a pint glass. Served cold. Aroma: Sweet cereals. A little yeast. No hop profile. Nothing breathtaking. Appearance: Transparent pale yellow. Soapy white head fizzes down to nothing pretty quickly. Taste: Decent malt is covered up by sweet cereal adjuncts. There are no hops to be found here. Palate: Light bodied and slightly watery. Overall: I like the fact that this is available in a big can. That’s about it, sadly. Not bad, just nothing special.

1 Pt. 9.4 Fl. Oz. Can. Not really sure why I’m rating this one but here it goes... Poured clear yellow fizzy, large white head and lots of lacing. Malt and yeast aroma. Taste is consistent very bready definitively same style of most macro pale lagers... It’s a beer with a purpose, perhaps for a warm day, or one to down a lot of them while hanging with your buddies, nothing really great here.

Bottle. Poured a clear bubbly pale yellow color with no head. Taste of grain, corn, and caramel malts. High carbonation, thin body. Just another boring pale lager

This beer tastes like sawdust and cardboard, even at very cold temperatures...... Disappointing.

bottle
Blond color, slight foam.
The aroma is very slight with notes of malt.
flavor is slightly malty and ending on a very slight bitterness.
Light-bodied with a slight touch of alcohol, the poor and watery bitter finish.
Typical mega-industrial beer... trashy.
