"A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability."

I remember that I used to like this beer, but now I can't remember why. Still it has decent taste with an unusual distinct light hoppy taste, although the finish is almost tinny or metallic. Refreshing when ice cold, which I hear is how Australians prefer all their beers. Nice golden appearance, although the aroma strikes me as a kind of "industrial" metallic smell with some bready malt. I do enjoy sporting the obnoxiously large oil cans which also save you the trouble of going back to find a second beer. On a side note, I've heard that this beer is not that popular in Australia, so it's "Australian for beer" tag line may be inauthentic. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Classico esempio di lager commerciale che sa meno di niente. Acqua mascherata da birra.

Pours a clear golden color with white head. Cereal grains but not much else on the palate. Light bodied. Finishes pretty clean. Average lager.

Aus der Dose. Herber etwas unangenehmer Geruch, vielleicht auch verstärkt durch die Dose. Süßlich-wässeriger Geschmack mit langweiligem herben Abgang. Hat alles, was mir an einem Lager mißfällt.

Quite possibly the thinnest beer, I have had. Watery and.... well, watery... Maybe some metal...

(Can) Clear golden yellow with decent white head. Reasonable aroma - grassy with a hint of petrol. Light bodied and fizzy. Flavour is light malt, a little more sugary than malty, with some grassy / vegetable notes and with detectable bitterness. Overall, I was surprised. It was better than I expected. Tried from a can on a plane, which I think can affect perception of taste.

From a 25.4 oz ’oil can.’ Pours a straw with nice carbonation and fluffy head that dissipates. Nose of corn and rice, possibly. Bitter taste with a hint of aromatic hydrocarbons. Not very good.

piss yellow, borring beer, this is one of the worst mass produced lagers in the world.
