Filtered and pasteurised. Available with added carbon dioxide in keg, can and bottled formats. First brewed in 1887.
Available in Britain as Export.
"A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability."

Nothing remarkable here. I must admit I never did like this beer, and after giving it another shot here lately, it has done nothing to change my mind.

Appearance: clear pale gold with one finger of loose white head diminishing rapidly to a thin cap, patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: adjunct corn syrup, grass, light vegetal. (4/10) Taste: moderate-high sweet, low bitter. (3/10) Light body, lively carbonation, sweet medium duration finish. (2/5) Very much a SABMiller product. Any character this might once have had has been pretty firmly stamped out - if not by the SABMiller ownership, than by the fact that this is brewed in the US under license. Hey, I knew it was gonna be shit going in, so I’m not disappointed. I was thirsty, now I’m not, so that’s kind of a win, right? And let’s be honest, the big-ass oilcan is fun. Cheap garbage, at a cheap price. (8/20)

I take this opportunity to reiterate my point from a previous rating of the premium ale in that If you are going to smash macro beer then there is no better than the oil can! The lager is a little more friendly being lighter bodied and slightly cleaner in taste.

(Draught at Hotel Vivanta By Taj, Gurgaon, India, 5 August 2016) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, grain, hay and boiled vegetables. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of bread, grain, corn, grass and typical macro notes. Medium body, fairly dry. Bland and boring.

0,5l from tap shared by a friend. yellow clear shiny colour, medium white head. smells rather watery, light cardboard, grainy. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, light fruity, some plums. dishes a but bitter sweet with light peppery notes and light plums. ok but not overwhelming, rather watery.

22 oz can. Pours pale straw with tall, long lasting, fluffy, white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of sweet malt. Body is light and crisp. Taste is of something I’m not sure what. Finish is short, barely noticeable. Standard macro crap.

Somewhat watery lager. And I thought that it lost even more in the taste when served chilled. Quite boring, and nowadays I rather go with Karjala from my local store even though you get Foster for 1€ as well.

Bottle - Clear pale yellow colour, small white head. weak malty aromas with some sweetish corn and some weak hops. Taste is quite blank, and a bit too sweetish. Light body, average carbonation, watery mouthfeel and dry finish. Not recommended.

Token bad beer, not much else to say. Worse than every mass produced american lager, by quite a bit. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

En tynd omgang the (eller øl), har lidt smag af humle, men ellers ikke noget der smager af andet end "festival-øl".
