iride15 (117), Sanford, Florida, USA Mar 25, 2008 Ok, it’s slightly better than american lagers, but this doesn’t match anything that comes out of Europe. Good beer if I lived in 100 degrees of dry heat every day, but I don’t.
Fearless99 (14), Oregon, USA Oct 5, 2008 25oz can, drank straight from the can. Pale, straw color. Initial aroma is skunk. Should have guessed quickly that the flavor would be skunk, with a side of skunk. One of the most awful beers I have tasted. I suspect it was warmed extensively at some point. Carbonation dissipated before I finished the beer. An overall dissatisfying beer. Even if I was desperate to get drunk I would pass on this crap.
Also: Not Australian for beer. What an insulting slogan. Guinnessman (80), VACAVILLE, California, USA Oct 5, 2008 Pretty bad tasting beer, but the 25 oz cans are the best in the beer section for boiling Brats. 1 can can handle a 5 pack of Johnsonville’s with ease. DrDavid (351), Johnson, Vermont, USA Oct 4, 2008 (Bottle). Scant maltish aroma. Pale golden, small head. Clean mild taste, lots of carbonation. Not offensive, but not much going on. Bullit (585), Glasgow, Scotland Sep 28, 2008 Yellow colour, white head. Aroma has some faint hops. Flavour is metallic, malty and skunky. ewestern (110), Ohio, USA Sep 23, 2008 Yellow color with a thick white head. Faint aroma of sweet hops. Slight flavor of malts and spices, smooth with a crisp finish. Impressed that there was absolutely no skunkiness to this beer even as it warmed up.
