Filtered and pasteurised. Available with added carbon dioxide in keg, can and bottled formats. First brewed in 1887.
Available in Britain as Export.
"A light-coloured lager style, it presents full malt character with a balanced clean hop bitterness. Combined with a slightly hoppy, but yeasty/malty nose, Foster's lager is a full bodied beer with excellent drinkability."

Bottled, Brewed in Canada. I remember this as a beer that gave me a nasty headache the next morning. Not any more. An at least unoffensive odor. Taste is just a bit more malty than in a normal American beer. And I catch a bit of hop in the aftertaste. Had I not found much more interesting brewpub lagers, I might have rated this higher, but now I know better: there's so much more out there, and this is so much less.

Pours a clear gold with white foam. Has a grain and malt beer aroma. A watered down taste of crisp malts and grains. A bland flavor overall.

not quite sure what "skunky" means but I’m guessing this sums it up, pale gold light laciness & a mild malt grain straw aroma taste is sort of crisp lightly bitter watery very average

Frisch gezapft. Klar und golden. Sehr wässrig, es mangelt an Aroma. Eher unterdurchschnittliches Lager.

Bottle @ home. Clear yellow color, small fizzy head, decent lacing. Clean butter hops smell. Light body with a fizzy slightly bitter nutty flavor.

On tap at Outback Steakhouse. If you want the faux Australian experience, I guess this is the way to go. It was cold and easy drinking, but nothing more than that.

Type: 25.4-oz. can Glass: Firestone pint glass From: Vons in Pacific Beach (San Diego), Calif. Price: $2.00 (w/ Vons card) Purchased: Dec. 22, 2014 Consumed: Dec. 22, 2014 Misc.: Best by May 11, 2015 Poured a yellow, pale, clear color with four fingers of rocky white head. Light bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Below average-to-poor wet foamy lacing on the sides of the glass. Below average retention all the way down. (Sight - 3.25) Smelled boozy malts up front. Also honey, Cheerios, cereal, grassy malts, wheat and caramel. Not terrible after the initial whiff for the style. (Smell - 3.38) Taste was a little rough at first, but got better after a few more gulps. Got cereal, corn, grassy malts, honey wheat, caramel, Corn Flakes and late medicinal notes. (Taste - 3.25) Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, watery finish. (Feel - 3.25) This was a pretty good beer for the style. I’d have to see where I would rank it, but if would have to be toward the top for all American Adjunct Lager’s. (Overall - 3.25) 3.28 85 B-

Typical light lager with a little more body and a little more carbonation to make it more of an Aussie sparkling lager. I would still prefer this over BMC.

You won’t find Fosters in Australia. This comes as a surprise to a lot of foreigners, especially the English. The reason is: It’s shit!

750 ml can from Biggie Wine & Liquor into a Guinness glass. Clear golden yellow appearance with a diminishing white head. Bland aroma of pale malts, mild grains, light hops and a touch of yeast. Similar flavor, bland and dull, not much going on. Light body with a crisp, carbonated feel and a gross finish. Pretty awful overall, worse than I remember.
