2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottled, Brewed in Canada. I remember this as a beer that gave me a nasty headache the next morning. Not any more. An at least unoffensive odor. Taste is just a bit more malty than in a normal American beer. And I catch a bit of hop in the aftertaste. Had I not found much more interesting brewpub lagers, I might have rated this higher, but now I know better: there's so much more out there, and this is so much less.

25 FL OZ ($2.49) just a average lager beer, nothing special and surely not the beer of australia, in fact i believe bud or coors is there beer of choice lol funny. lager in general is crap and if you’re purchasing lager you’re most likely not looking for anything other that getting drunk. tastes similar to the can it pours from. pass this as you might as well get a cobra or OE if this is a choice.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Foster’s, Australian for cheap American macro lager beer. It has a light golden yellow or straw color that is very bright and clear. Tiny bubbles flow up the sides of the glass to form a big, light and foamy white head that leaves behind some lace. The aroma is quite strong with light grains and a salty mineral scent. The flavor is very average and plain. It is fairly sweet and grainy in flavor with some light hop presence in the finish and a salty aftertaste. Its body is light and its texture is thin with an average carbonation that makes it easy to gulp down.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20

1.1 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
I’ve had this more than enough times. I suppose I’m to say something on this.
Okay, well here goes.
I’ve had this more than enough times in pint glasses and pilseners.
The appearance was a decent golden yet transparent yellow color with a fast rising carbonation filling a less than a half fingered white foamy fizzling head. The lacing well, its not really there.
The smell, uh...okay, I guess, its actually fairly skunky every time I’ve had it. Its always off and I’m pretty sure I’ve had this at least twenty times in my life.
The taste is well, bitter, but more for the sake of just being bitter and not necessarily for the fact that its the hops making it that way.
On the palate, well, it strikes my mouth and tongue into a submission that’s not worthy of wanting to come back to. Bitter, oh hell yeah, this is, more than bitter, but not a good bitter.
Overall, I’m thinking this stuff defines "swill" at its finest. I’m glad to get this one off my chest and most likely never have this ever again. This isn’t even a pale lager.
