Foster's Light Ice represents a new breakthrough in Australian light beer development. A unique brewing process has enabled CUB to break the flavour barrier for light beer. This has been achieved by new brewing techniques, which retain full flavour, and include the use of ultra high gravity brewing and chill filtering. Foster's LightIce is a smooth, full-flavoured, easy-drinking and extremely refreshing beer.

Shit! I thought they only brewed stuff this bad in the states. Like water with a drop of yellow food coloring it has virtually no color or taste. Found it strangly reminicent of keystone light. Its redeaming quality is the price, cheap as dirt.

375ml bottle into glass. Bought at Supamart, Sans Souci. Didn’t know this was still available. Clear bottle. Faint hop nose. Golden amber beer with fulsome white head, looks good. Not much carbonation. Unfortunately tastes horrible. Watery cardboard with cooked vegetables. There’s also some metallic thing going on in the background. It’s 35 deg Celcius in Sydney right now & I’m struggling to finish this.

Clear golden color, white head. Sweet, sugary, vegetable scent. Malty, thin, grainy taste. Grainy aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel, low grainy bitterness.

Vying with Budweiser as the worst beer I have ever been unfortunate enough to drink. No flavour, no alcohol - no beer really.

Pretty average, actually pretty bad regardless. Watery, stinky, skunked-like flavours, stale malts, little bitterness and a fizzy finish. Strictly for the tick.

They broke the taste barrier for low beer!...Too bad they didn’t know what was broken and what needed fixing. Tastes like a malt liquor and it’s only 2.3%. Good for the alcoholic that doesn’t want to get too drunk

Looks vaguely beerish, other then that, basically water. In a blind test I’d say 9 out of 10 people would mistake it as soda water, and even then they’d think it tasted bland. Fucking laughably pissweak, just buy a bottle of Perrier instead. FAIL.

375ml bottle. Doesn’t look too bad for a low alcohol beer, a bit thin but a nice amber colour with a wavy foam crest. Aroma of wet cardboard and grass and a horrid metallic aftertaste with no real level of bitterness. Thin and watery.
