COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Made from Foster's Lager by a special evaporative process Foster's Light has half the alcohol content of its famous parent. Its full malt character and clean hop bitterness is combined with a delicate estery, yeasty and malty nose to produce a low alcohol beer of exceptional quality and flavour.

Wow, another fine example of why light beer is simply an aberration. Made by an evaporative process??? What the hell is that? Anyway, it must work because the flavour, body and character of the beer is totally extracted.

(Can 37,5 cl) Clear golden with a creamy white head leaving some laces. Unpleasant aroma of horse manure. Light in body, rather thin with sticky malts and only a tiny whiff of hops. But nonetheless a worthy 10K anniversary beer for my noble beer friend Ungstrup :-) 260208

To celebrate my 10,000th rating, I’ve chosen to rate this quite rare beer from the other side of the planet, bought in NZ and brought home by my good friend Papsoe.

A very beutiful dark golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is primarily of cardboard, but also light notes of malt and straw as well as hints of skunkiness from brewing cereal. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of cardboard and straw as well as lighter notes of metal and brewing cereal, the finish is dry and the body is thin (no wonder).

Behold...the almighty Fosters Light! 37.5 cL can. Pours clear and yellow with a white head. Malt, grainy and mouldy. Flavour is artificial malty, light grainy and with a little vegetable note. Ends with a light roasted malt flavour.

I just don’t see the point of having less alcohol. Foster’s is not the great by itself, this is just a horrible counterpart. I really did not like it.

Tried it as it was $6 for a 6 pack at my supermarket. Not very tasty. Smells bad. Best thing about it was the price.

I was recently forced to drink this at a party. Warm piss would have been tastier. It’s a wonder to me why the beers are even brewed.

The aftertaste is retching! I can’t stand to get near this stuff. Yuk! Terrible. Only good quality is it has average appearance.
