An easy to drink beer with a nice head. Unfortunately, it doesn’t have as much flavor as I would like.

Not a bad ale from down under as the malt was kept in check by the bitterness. It did seem a little overcarbonated and that played games with its smoothness.

Re-Rate 01/20/02: Pours a nice deep amber, generous head and nice lace. Nose is malt, hints of citrus?, start is malt, the middle is light to medium, and the finish is nicely hopped, acidic and moderate to high carbonation. Clean and fresh, personally, I kind of like this beer, no not a world beater, but good none the less.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2003 amber with a pretty big head that lasts. There's nothing really special about it and its not bitter either. But its not bad either

has the taste and character of potentialy good ale, but doesn’t have the heavy taste of a strong ale. most of the big beer drinkers have rated this low, maybe because this beer has characteristics that are a mid range choice.
