Aroma has some hop and a kind of "twang". Appearance is acceptable (but what does caramel color added mean?). It is overcarbed, thin and dry. The hop bitterness is passable. It is a doable beer for the pricepoint, but "premium" might be a stretch.

Poured from a 25 OZ oil can into a pint glass. Aroma- Has a moldy yeast smell not that great. Appearance – The best part of this ale is its color. A clear orange with a large white head. Taste- Has a faint sweet flavor with a nice dose of malt. Palate- A medium bodied, moderately carbonated ale. Overall- A truly average beer, I prefer Foster’s Lager but even that is not an impressive brew.

Clear Amber with rapidly dissipating off-white bubbles. Aroma of grain, corn pops, a hint of grass, and cake. Taste is grain and a little sweetness with a touch of hop bitterness. Light-medium bodied, bubbly, and slightly dry.

Pours a nice amber with a one finger white head. Aroma is sweet malt. Taste is better than regular Fosters. Nice malt taste with a tiny bit of bitterness.

Beautiful looking beer. Nice ruby color with plenty of carbonation and a medium size head that disappears fairly quickly. Taste is not quite as good as the looks. Light, flavorless body with a bit of bitterness that disappears in the aftertaste. Very drinkable, but also forgettable.

Oil can purchased at the Mobil up the road. Dark golden bordering on amber with a dense rocky white head that shows moderate retention. Sweet bready biscuity flavor and aroma with a hint of earthy hops. Light toffee and mineral water flavor round this out. Pretty plain not horiibly complex but straightforward and somewhat crushable.

750 ml can from Safeway. It pours a super clear light amber color with a huge frothy head that shrinks to a reasonable level within a minute. The aroma is weird and tangy with some strong herbal hops, metal, hints of fruit and caramel. The flavor is pretty much the same. Mild caramel and fruit up front followed by surprisingly strong herbal bitterness that clashes with a harsh metallic aftertaste. The body is pretty weak. If I had this at a small craft brewery, I’d say it’s a pretty decent attempt at an English Pale. Not offensive, but certainly not anything to write home about. I would’ve liked it better without the harsh herbal and metallic finish.

Sampled from 25.4 oz can in pint glass. Appearance: pours a thick, sudsy off white head that drops slowly. Color is a clear amber with abundant carbonation. Aroma: mild with bread being dominate, some caramel and a bit of earthy/floral hops. Mouthfeel: medium and slick with a somewhat dry finish. Flavor: bready malts dominate, some caramel sweetness with a definite hop presence. Overall: decent, but certainly not outstanding.
