Guinness4Duff (384), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Jun 7, 2008 Giant Can (25.4 ounces if you read the fine print). Light amber pour with a thick white head that sticks around awhile. Smells grainywith a mild hop presence that lets you know it really is a bitter. Before I even taste it im just gonna say that this beer looks like a high quality bitter.
Eww, now i tasted it. This is terrible, like a horrible European lager with a bitteresque accent to it. Im gonna pound this as fast as possible and go watch some baseball. Swalden_28 (469), McKinney, Texas, USA May 29, 2008 Oil Can, Quick Trip store, McKInney, TX.
Pours a clear very light amber, actually had a good head that tried to lace the glass.....Very light aroma with very slight detectable hops and very light malt, but you actually have to try to smell anything. Flavor is not horrible, has a nice small hoppy flavor backed by malt and a very small bitter. Palate is high carbonation (Not overly carbonated) with light mouth feel.....Not a good pale ale......might make a decient lager....actually, maybe this is a Fosters "Lager" recipee exchanged with ale yeast perhaps....over all, not a good ale......but it is easy to drink..... rbod (13), Davie, Florida, USA May 26, 2008 This beer pours pretty well, with a quickly dissipating head. The color is a rich caramel. The beer has a faint bitter bite, but not it as not as full as I hoped. All in all, its not a bad gas station purchase. rocbyter (563), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA May 24, 2008 Yeast aroma with a light amount of grain. Light clear orange color with a medium white head. Light taste in the beginning with a mild bitter finish. Light palate yayforbeer (582), Orange Park, Florida, USA May 20, 2008 24 oz can. Seems like these “oil cans” just keep getting smaller. Pours copper-amber with a big fluffy white head. Sweet malty, corny aroma sorta like a malt liquor. Flavor is good, has a nice malty backbone with just a tiny bit of bitterness to finish. Smooth and rich flavor. A little watery but nowhere near as bad as the macro lagers. Definitely better than the Fosters Lager. Not bad for a bitter.
